Getting started

Midgard Universe is a low-rate, classic Ragnarok Online server where everything that happens in game is public. Here is how to go from nothing to your first step in Prontera.

1. Create a master account

Register with your email address. The master account is what you sign in to this website with; it stays private and is never shown in the Ledger. Confirm your email, then turn on two-factor authentication on the Security page.

2. Create a game account

On your account page, create a game account. This is the username and password the game client uses. A master account can hold up to [5] game accounts, each with its own characters.

3. Download the client

Get the client from the download page and check its SHA-256 checksum before you run it. [CLIENT INSTALL STEPS]

4. Sign in and create a character

Start the client, sign in with your game account and create a character. New players spawn in Prontera with a Novice kit.

5. Look yourself up

Everything you do from here on shows up in the Ledger: your character page, the items you find and the zeny you earn. Your email, IP address and chat never do.
